    Dr. S. Edward Dakil
    MD

    Dr. Edward Dakil is a board certified urologist. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine. He completed training in general surgery followed by completion of his urology residency at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

    Special interest in: Female urology and pelvic floor support issues requiring advanced techniques including patients who have prior failed procedures, pain free vasectomy and microscopic vasectomy reversal, erectile dysfunction therapy, kidney stone treatment and prevention.

    Dr. Dakil is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association.

    Dr. Dakil sees both male and female patients.

    Dr. Philip L. Jones
    MD

    Philip Jones, M.D. is a board certified urologist who practices within Norman Urology as a general urologist. He is a native Oklahoman who graduated from the University of Oklahoma and the OU College of Medicine. He did his residency with the OU College of Medicine in the Department of Urology in Oklahoma City. Although Dr. Jones is a general urologist, he has additional training in pediatric urology and has emphasized urologic cancer treatment, female urology, stone disease and vasectomies.

    Dr. Jones is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys ranching, hunting, fishing, skiing and virtually anything outdoors. He is married to Cathleen, who is a healthcare lawyer and has two college aged sons.

    Dr. Jones sees both male and female patients.

    Dr. Clifton Whitesell
    MD

    Dr. Clifton Whitesell is a board certified urologist. He attended the University of Oklahoma followed by medical school at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine. He completed training in general surgery followed by completion of his urology residency at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

    Special interest in: Urology oncology and female incontinence.

    Dr. Whitesell is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Urological Association.

    Dr. Bradley A. Wilson
    MD

    Dr. Bradley A. Wilson is the newest member of Norman Urology. He is a native Oklahoman, who graduated from Putnam City West High School in Oklahoma City. He attended Southern Nazarene University, where he received two degrees: one in Biology/Chemistry and a second in Business Finance. He then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical Honor Society, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and was awarded the Podilarian award by his fellow classmates. He went on to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City for his Urologic Surgery residency. While in training, he learned the latest techniques in urologic surgery including an extensive training using the da Vinci robot for procedures treating prostate cancer, kidney cancer, kidney reconstruction, and female pelvic reconstruction. With his wife Heather and daughter Elouise, he has moved home to Oklahoma, to join Norman Urology. He has also established the robotic urology program at Norman Regional Hospital, performing the first robotic prostatectomy in Norman. He sees all patients with urologic concerns and performs a broad range of urologic procedures.

    His particular surgical interests include:

    1. Vasectomy
    2. Minimally invasive kidney stone treatment
    3. Minimally invasive treatments for enlarged prostate
    4. Robotic surgery to remove kidney cancers and prostate cancer
    5. Robotic kidney and pelvic floor reconstruction

    Kent Bays is a certified physician assistant. He graduated from Missouri Southern State College and completed his medical training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

    Kent is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants
